Kitchen Update - No Change of Layout
Retired Couple
The layout of this kitchen was working well and didn’t need to be changed. New quartzite countertops, ceramic backsplash, new hardware, and new appliances give this kitchen a complete new look.
Since the cabinets were still in good shape we decided to re-use and paint them; we chose a soft white for the perimeter and a dark grey-brown for the island.
The countertop material, a natural quartzite was chosen first and served as basis for all material selections.
It includes shades of grey, brown, and white/beige which makes it very versatile and can be used with many colors.
